Our Mission
The mission of BNI is to help members increase their business through a structured, positive, and professional word-of-mouth program that enable them to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with quality business professionals.
Our Goals
- To educate our members that networking is more about farming than it is about hunting; it is about cultivating relationships!
- To have BNI become synonymous with word-of-mouth marketing. When people think of word-of-mouth marketing, they will think of BNI.
- To be the best, largest, and most widely recognized referral organization in the United States and internationally.
- To provide innovative leadership, direction, and support to the Directors, Leadership Team and members of each chapter.
- To better educate, guide, and inform members in the process of developing a word-of- mouth based business.
- To obtain and respond to feedback from our members on a ongoing basis.
- To expand our membership base throughout the United States and the world.
- To evaluate our achievements using traditional and innovative measurements.
- To develop all corporate-owned regions outside of BNI Headquarters' area into locally managed enterprises.
Last year, 2003,members of BNI (BUSINESS NETWORK INT'L) passed over 2 million referrals which generated approximately 1.25 billion dollars worth of business for each other! BNI is a business and professional networking organization that allows only one person per professional classification to join a chapter.
Belonging to BNI is like having two to three dozens of sales people working for you because all the other members carry several copies of your business cards around with them. When they meet someone new who could use your products or service, they hand your card out and recommend your services. It's as simple as that! It's simple because it's based on the proven concept of what goes around, comes around. If I help you, you'll help me and we will both benefit as a result.
